Forma I

Post-CARE Instructions

1. Avoid Direct Sun Exposure:

  • Use Sunscreen Daily: Protect your skin with a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen, especially for the first week post-treatment, as your skin may be more sensitive to UV exposure.

  • Limit Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sunlight for at least 48 hours. If going outside, wear protective clothing or a wide-brimmed hat to shield treated areas.

2. Avoid Heat and Strenuous Activities:

  • Limit Heat Exposure for 24 Hours: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and other sources of heat immediately after the treatment, as excess heat can increase redness or sensitivity in the treated area.

  • Avoid Intense Exercise: Skip high-intensity workouts for at least 24 hours to minimize the risk of sweating and irritation to the skin.

3. Hydrate and Moisturize:

  • Apply a Gentle Moisturizer: Use a soothing, hydrating moisturizer on the treated area twice daily to keep the skin hydrated and reduce any tightness or dryness.

  • Drink Plenty of Water: Stay hydrated throughout the day to support skin elasticity and enhance the results of the treatment.

4. Avoid Exfoliants and Active Ingredients:

  • Skip Strong Skincare Products for 48 Hours: Avoid using products with retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or Vitamin C on the treated area, as these can irritate freshly treated skin.

  • Hold Off on Exfoliating: Avoid scrubs, peels, and other physical or chemical exfoliants for at least one week to allow the skin to heal without additional stress.

5. Be Gentle with the Skin:

  • Avoid Scratching or Picking: Refrain from touching or scratching the treated area to prevent irritation or potential disruption to the collagen-stimulating process.

  • No Makeup for 24 Hours: If possible, avoid applying makeup on the treated area for 24 hours to allow the skin to breathe and heal. If necessary, use non-comedogenic, gentle products.

6. Monitor for Mild Side Effects:

  • Mild Redness and Warmth Are Normal: You may experience slight redness, warmth, or a “flushed” look for a few hours to a day post-treatment. These effects should subside quickly.

  • Alert Your Provider for Any Unusual Symptoms: If you experience prolonged redness, swelling, discomfort, or blistering, contact your provider.

7. Expect Gradual Improvements:

  • Results Build Over Time: Forma I is known for cumulative effects, with skin tightening and texture improvements becoming more noticeable after multiple treatments, as collagen production increases.

8. Follow-Up Sessions for Optimal Results:

Adhere to Suggested Treatment Plan: Forma I is often recommended in a series of treatments for the best results. Follow your provider’s recommended schedule for long-lasting, optimal outcomes.
