Glass Facial

Post-CARE Instructions

1. Avoid Direct Sun Exposure:

  • Use Sunscreen Daily: Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen after the treatment and every day thereafter to protect your skin from UV damage and prevent pigmentation issues.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure for 24–48 Hours: Stay out of direct sunlight for at least one to two days post-treatment. If you must go outside, wear a wide-brimmed hat or seek shade.

2. Avoid Heat and Strenuous Activities:

  • Limit Heat Exposure: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or anything that can cause your skin to overheat for at least 24 hours, as it can increase sensitivity and redness.

  • Avoid Intense Exercise: Refrain from vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours post-treatment to reduce the risk of skin irritation or flushing.

3. Keep Skin Hydrated:

  • Apply a Hydrating Moisturizer: Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer regularly to keep your skin nourished and comfortable. This will help maintain the glow and reduce any tightness or dryness.

  • Drink Plenty of Water: Hydration is key for maintaining the healthy, dewy appearance achieved from the Glass Facial. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

4. Avoid Exfoliating and Strong Skincare Ingredients:

  • Skip Active Ingredients for 48 Hours: Avoid products containing retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or Vitamin C for at least 48 hours after the facial, as these can irritate freshly treated skin.

  • Refrain from Scrubs or Exfoliation: Do not use physical exfoliants or any chemical exfoliants for 3–5 days after the treatment.

5. Avoid Makeup (if possible):

  • Let Your Skin Breathe: Try to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after the treatment to allow your skin to absorb the serums and healing ingredients effectively. If makeup is necessary, opt for lightweight, non-comedogenic products.

6. Monitor for Mild Side Effects:

  • Normal Post-Treatment Sensitivity: You may experience slight redness, mild sensitivity, or tingling immediately after the treatment, which should subside within a few hours.

  • Alert for Unusual Symptoms: Contact your provider if you experience unusual swelling, pain, or irritation, or if redness persists for more than 24 hours.

7. Expect Gradual Results:

  • Noticeable Glow: Your skin should look radiant immediately after the facial, with lasting results over the next few days as hydration and exfoliation continue to work.

  • Be Patient with Long-Term Improvements: For best results, consider following up with additional treatments as recommended by your skincare provider.

8. Follow-Up Treatments:

Consistency for Best Results: The Glass Facial may be recommended as part of a regular skincare regimen for maximum benefits. Follow the treatment schedule suggested by your provider for continued improvements in skin texture and appearance.
