Neurotris
Post-CARE Instructions
1. Avoid Touching or Irritating the Skin:
Limit Skin Contact: Your skin may feel a bit sensitive immediately after treatment. Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at the face to reduce the risk of irritation.
2. Stay Hydrated:
Drink Plenty of Water: Hydration helps flush out toxins and support the lifting effects of the microcurrent. Aim to drink extra water throughout the day.
Use a Hydrating Moisturizer: Apply a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and glowing.
3. Avoid Heat and Sun Exposure:
Protect Your Skin from the Sun: Avoid direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours, and use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen when going outdoors.
Avoid Heat Sources: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, as heat can increase sensitivity and redness.
4. Skip Exfoliating and Active Ingredients:
Avoid Retinoids, Acids, and Strong Serums: Avoid products containing retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or vitamin C for 24 hours to prevent irritation on freshly treated skin.
Refrain from Exfoliating: Wait at least 48 hours before using physical or chemical exfoliants to allow your skin to recover fully.
5. Limit Makeup Application (if possible):
Avoid Heavy Makeup for 24 Hours: If possible, let your skin breathe without makeup for the rest of the day. If makeup is necessary, choose lightweight, non-comedogenic products.
6. Maintain Results with Gentle Skincare:
Use Gentle, Hydrating Products: Opt for mild, hydrating cleansers, toners, and moisturizers to support your skin’s natural glow and help maintain the effects of the microcurrent.
7. Expect Subtle, Gradual Improvements:
Notice Lifting and Firming Effects Over Time: Microcurrent facials often show cumulative results, especially if done in a series. You may notice immediate firmness, but full benefits develop with regular treatments.
8. Follow Provider Recommendations for Future Sessions:
Schedule Follow-Up Treatments as Advised: Neurotris microcurrent facials are often recommended in a series for lasting results, so follow the schedule your provider suggests for optimal outcomes.
