PRP/PRF | Vampire Facial | Hair restoration

There are minimal restrictions after your PRP injections allowing you to return to your daily activities almost immediately.

Avoid touching the injection site: Don't touch, rub, or massage the area for at least 8 hours after the procedure. 

Avoid strenuous activity: Don't exercise or do any strenuous physical activity for at least 24 hours after the procedure. 

Avoid heat and sun: Avoid heat and sun exposure for at least 48 hours after the procedure. Wear SPF 30 or higher. 

Avoid certain supplements: Avoid taking supplements like fish oil, flax seed oil, garlic, melatonin, gingko biloba, red clover, ginseng, and St. John's Wort for 3-4 days before and after the procedure. 

Avoid alcohol and cigarettes: Don't smoke or consume alcohol for at least 3 days after the procedure. 

Stay hydrated: Drink at least 64 ounces of water the day of the treatment and continue to increase your water intake for one week after. 

Take painkillers: If you experience discomfort or pain, you can take Tylenol or other Acetaminophen products. Refrain from Advil or Aleve. 

Reduce swelling: Place a moistened hot towel over the treated area for 15 minutes to reduce swelling. 

Continue skincare: Continue your regular skincare routine, but avoid rubbing harsh products into your skin. 

Keep the area hydrated: Keep the under-eye area hydrated with neutral moisturizers or oils. 

Elevate your head: Keep your head elevated while sleeping. 

It's normal to experience some side effects like swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, and lumps around the treatment areas for up to 10 days. The treated area may also look asymmetrical or uneven. Contact your provider if symptoms worsen or change or do not start to go away after 10 days.
